About Mom’s Travel Tales

July 30th, 2009

I really enjoy traveling with my family… and sometimes without them, too.

I keep a toiletry kit almost-packed at all times and our family suitcases have seen their share of destinations worldwide, state-side and down the street.

I remembering departing Houston for our ‘babymoon’ before our first child, thinking that my traveling days were about to come to a dramatic halt. Instead, I think they they have picked up!  (While I was planning life with baby #3 and preparing for labor and delivery, my husband was planning all the details of our trip to Europe so he could attend the World Cup in Germany three months later!

We like to escape for a week or two far away as much as we like to escape for a night alone downtown or in another suburb of our hometown.

I hope MomsTravelTales will inspire you as you plan your next vacation and also serve to be a resource of tips and tricks to traveling with kids.

If you have a travel tale to share, please send me a note… I’d love to read about it!
