De-cluttering your toiletry kit for travel

May 25th, 2010

When I travel, I like to pack as few things as possible, without skimping too much.

On one trip it was particularly important that I pack light.

That was when I came up with this idea that I use for cutting out the clutter in my toiletry kit on shorter trips:

I’ve used this dozens of times…  It has also helped me to be able to carry my luggage instead of check it, as I don’t need to bring that entire bottle of moisturizer, face soap or whatever.

Plus, when we go on longer trips, like our 10 day trip to Dubai, it allowed me to carry on just what I needed and save the bigger bottles for the checked luggage.

What do you think? Do you have any of those lying around so you could give it a try?
